Police ask for public assistance in locating sex assault suspect

Investigators have determined identity of 21-year-old wanted man

Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to search for an identified male involved in a Kitchener sexual assault.

On Aug. 10, at approximately 5 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in the area of Victoria Street North and Lackner Boulevard.

Investigators have determined the identity of the male as 21-year-old Sukhmanjot Singh.

Singh has connections to the Region of Waterloo and to Peel Region.  He is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, please do not approach him but call 911 immediately.

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Kitchener.

On Aug. 10, at approximately 5 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in the area of Victoria Street North and Lackner Boulevard.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with the male pictured below in connection to this incident. The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Major Crime Unit.
