A teenager has been taken to an out-of-region hospital following a crash Friday afternoon in Blair.
Emergency crews were called to Fountain Street South near Dickie Settlement Road at around 3:30 p.m. for a collision involving a Dodge pickup truck and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
Waterloo Regional Police describe the injuries of the motorcycle driver – an 18-year-old Kitchener woman – as serious, but non-life-threatening.
Fountain Street South was closed between Blair Road and Dickie Settlement Road, but it has since been reopened.
Police are still investigating the crash and say charges are anticipated.

Waterloo regional police closed Fountain Street South between the Dickie Settlement Road roundabout and the Blair Road roundabout around 4 p.m. for a collision investigation involving a motorcycle.
The road has since reopened.
No other details were released in a post to X shortly after 4 p.m. today.
Police asked motorists to find an alternate route.
