Charges anticipated after pedestrian struck in Kitchener

A 31-year-old woman was taken to an out of region hospital with non-life threatening injuries this morning after she was struck by a vehicle in Kitchener.

Waterloo Regional Police’s Traffic Services Unit is investigating the 8:30 a.m. collision that brought emergency services to Queen Street South near Courtland Avenue West.

The driver of the Mazda that struck her, a 25-year-old male, reported no physical injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are anticipated.
