Wellington OPP have charged a 38-year-old Cambridge man with assault following an intimate partner violence investigation in Pusinch Township over the weekend.
Police said they were dispatched to a report of assault in a vehicle on Brock Road South in Puslinch Township around 2 p.m. on Feb. 8.
As a result of the investigation they charged the man under the Criminal Code of Canada with Assault.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP does not release names in these cases to protect the identity of the victim(s).
