Cambridge OPP investigate fail to remain collision involving motorcycle

Members of the Cambridge detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking public assistance with a fail to remain collision investigation involving a motorcycle.

On October 18, 2024, at 11:40 a.m., a collision occurred involving a motorcycle, and what investigators believe to be a black pickup truck, on Highway 85 south bound, to King Street off ramp, in Waterloo. The driver of the truck did not remain at the scene. Emergency services responded and the driver of the motorcycle was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and investigators are asking for witnesses who may have seen the collision, or may have dashcam footage, to call the OPP Cambridge Detachment at 1-888-310-1122 and refer to incident number E241397353.
