Cambridge man charged, 2 long guns seized in firearms trafficking investigation

A 32-year-old Cambridge man has been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance following a police investigation.

Waterloo regional police arrested two males earlier today in connection to a firearms trafficking investigation initiated by the drugs and firearms unit.

The Cambridge man and a 47-year-old Kitchener man, arrested and charged with trafficking a firearm were held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Two long guns were recovered as a result of the investigation.
