Police are continuing to investigate a fatal early morning collision in Cambridge.
On Dec. 7, 2022, at approximately 4:40 a.m., emergency services responded to Hespeler Road, near Kossuth Road, for multiple reports of a collision.
Through the initial investigation, it was determined that a Toyota SUV collided head-on with a transport truck.
The driver of the Toyota, a 58-year-old Cambridge male, was pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.
Hespeler Road was closed for several hours between Kossuth Road and Guelph Avenue as police investigated at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing by members of our General Investigations Unit and Traffic Services Unit.
