WOODWARD, Martin Victor

Martin Victor Woodward was born on July 30, 1960, in East York Township, Ontario. He passed away suddenly on August 6th, 2024 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his loving wife Carolyn, his son Tyler and his wife Luana Rabelo, mother Kathleen, brother Steve and his wife Deb Blanchette and their children Aidan and Shannon, and sister Sheri. He was preceded by his father, Lee.

Martin was a dedicated husband and father, beloved son and brother, and wonderful friend. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and the stories he could tell, and tell again.

A visitation and memorial will occur on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N) in Cambridge, Ontario. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m., with the memorial starting at 11 a.m. Donations to Ryan and Casie Fawns (gofund.me/60e7dc6b) or the Canadian Cancer Society are welcome.

Ryan Fawns, son of Loretta Fawns, who is a cousin of Martin’s, recently experienced a serious farm accident and faces many long months of rehabilitation and therapy and will not walk again until there are major advancements in spinal cord injuries. Ryan and his wife Casie have two young children.
