AUGUST 25, 1992 – SEPTEMBER 21, 2022
In the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, Jordan passed away peacefully at the age of 30, 14 months after learning his previously cured osteosarcoma had returned. Even as his health declined, he smiled and made jokes until his final hours. His wife, Krista, lay by his side holding his hand until he took his last breath, as he had wanted.
He is survived by his grandparents John and Cecilia, his brother Michael and sister-in-law Jessica, countless friends from all stages of life, and many loving family members from the Slaman, Jones, and Shatford households.
Smart, goofy, stubborn, and just a bit snarky, Jordan had endless love for his friends and family across many time zones and borders, who loved him so immensely in return that they would move mountains for him without hesitation. It takes a special person to attract so many into his orbit and keep them there year after year. The world has lost a light that touched many horizons.
Jordan was known for his love of funny facial expressions, Lego, tools, the outdoors, cars, computers, board games, Signal, and Costco.

A second Memorial Service will be held at the Coutts Funeral Home in Cambridge, Ontario on Sunday, October 16th at 2 pm, followed by a reception until 5 pm.
