OCTOBER 4, 1927 – OCTOBER 2, 2021
Loving wife of the Rev Dr Marney Patterson went to be with her Lord and Saviour Saturday October 2, 2021.
Born October 4th, 1927 in London, Ontario to William and Janet Phillips. The family moved to Peterborough where she met Marney, the Love of her life whom she married in 1949. She and Marney were blessed with four children: Susan, Stephen (Janet), Leslie (Ken - deceased) and Christopher (Pamela). They were also blessed with 12 Grandchildren: Doug, Derek, Stephen, Katrina, Janelle, Stephen, Jaime, Jennifer, Kenny, Rachel, Emra and Benjamin and 18 Great-Grandchildren: Austin, Victoria, Samantha, Theo, Nathan, Hailey, Brooklynn, Colton, Hannah, Kendra, Brodie, Savanna, Abigail, Kennedy, Karleigh, Peyton, Lucas and Wesley, all of whom were her “Treasures”. Mom was a devoted wife, Mother and Gramma who lived her life for her Lord, and her family! She is survived by her sister Gertie Fettes (Alastair), sister-in-law Peggy Robertson, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Rev George Phillips. Mom, you were loved beyond measure - to the moon and back! You have left us in body but we ALL will carry you in our hearts forever - and one day we know we will be together again, God has promised! Rest in peace Mom we will look after Daddy for you.
Due to the current restrictions, a private Memorial Service will take place on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. All are invited to join in a live broadcast of the service by visiting www.comstockfuneralhome.com at service time. Following the service Joan will be laid to rest at Little Lake Cemetery, Peterborough.
