Cindy passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2024, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital at the age of 69.
Cindy reminisced every day about her childhood, her family and her truck driving adventures, and always had a story to tell.
The last few years had been a struggle for Cindy and even more so earlier this year with learning she had Cancer. Cindy accepted the diagnosis, even “Henry” and tried to live life to the fullest.
She was brutally independent with cleaning, laundry, and dragging all her treasures home from her shopping trips, all while in a wheelchair! It amazed us all what she could do from that chair.
Cindy loved her sweet kitty Isabeau who was her loyal companion.
Cindy will be remembered by her son Jonathan her siblings Dave (Wendy), Shawn (Charlotte), Susie (Jim) along with her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and her granddaughter Sophie. Cindy loved Sophie dearly and was the apple of her eye. Even though she didn’t get to see Sophie much in recent years, it didn’t stop Cindy from loving her and speaking about her constantly.
A special thank you to Cindy’s friend Jeannette her nieces, Cheryl and Michelle also Wendy, Dave, Shawn and Charlotte and all the medical Caregivers for their support they provided to Cindy over the past six months.
A private family Celebration of her life will take place in the coming weeks.
