AUGUST 10, 1929 – JULY 4, 2021

Just as she lived life, Ursula (Oma) 91, fearlessly (while wearing her best pearls) entered eternity on July 4, 2021.

She will be missed greatly by her daughters Sonia Tuck (late Geoff) and Christine Ivany (Stephen), her grandchildren Matthew, Korinne, Tammy (Craig), David, Andrew, Tiffany (T.J.), Krystal (Peter), Vanessa (Patrick), Daniel, Vicki, Tim (Elaine), and Diana, great-grandchildren Owen, Abby, Max, Maya, Malik, Leo, Luke, Vinny, Lincoln, Jack, and Samantha, and her family in Germany.

Resembling a 65 year old, at the age of 91 (though she never told her secrets to beauty or a sharp mind), Ursula will be remembered for her love of music, joyfully playing the harmonica or organ daily. Ursula will be missed by the Crescendo Choir (Waterloo District Special Needs School Board) where she supported the members by playing the harmonica.

Most notably, Ursula was a compassionate soul who had an unwavering calling to help anyone in need. She never passed judgement and was a true child of God. She was just a phone call away if you needed advice, a listening ear, or a good drink. From cooking meals for everybody who needed one in her building to ensuring every person within a 20 km radius had a Christmas present. Ursula will be forever remembered for her generosity and showing the world that you don't have to have a lot in order to give and show someone a little love. Ursula was a lifelong member of the New Apostolic Church (Margaret Avenue Congregation) and will be missed by her brothers and sisters in the congregation.

Ursula's husband John (d. 1995), son Johnny, daughters Annette and Angie, grandson Ryan, and numerous family and friends have predeceased her and are eagerly waiting to embrace her at the Gates of Eternity. It is their turn to have her cooking, sense of humour, fashion taste, and giving soul. We are envious.

The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support the Waterloo District School Board Special Needs - Crescendo Choir. Details will be made available shortly.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and due to Covid 19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date to celebrate Ursula's life to the fullest. Details will shared to family and friends when available.

Ursula lived her life encouraging every person she met to embrace hope and "never give up".
