Phyllis passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family at Telfer Place Paris at the age of 94.
She is united once again with her beloved husband William “Duffy” Lantz (2017). Loving mother to Linda (Bert) Perriman, Barb (Brad) Edworthy, Marion (Chris) Edworthy and Duff (Sandy) Lantz, proud Grandma to Trevor (Becca), Joel (Kat), Brady (Cristina), Barry (Beth), Terri (Lee), Todd (Alex), Maddison (Aaron), Mariah and Great-Grandma to Caitlyn, Morgan, MacKenzie, Myah, Abigail, Blake-Lynn, Cece, Meadow and Reid and “Super Gram” to Angus, Ella, Paige Margaret and Maisie. Affectionately known as Mama Lantz to Greg, Brian, Dave, Doug and many others. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Emma Wilson and her brother Robert Wilson.
Phyllis was a vibrant soul, known for her love of horses and her dedication to helping others as a member of the YWCA. She spent many years as a school bus driver for special needs children, where her compassion touched countless lives.
She was an active sports enthusiast, enjoying volleyball, curling, and bowling. Together with Bill, friends and family they enjoyed many good times laughing, dancing, and singing. Phyllis brought joy and warmth to everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and Phyllis will be laid to rest alongside her family at Drumbo Cemetery.
