Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Campus on Wednesday September 4th 2024. Beloved wife of Betty Hussey for 61 years. Survived by his son Danny (Brenda), adopted daughter Amanda Hussey, and predeceased by sons Mark (2001) and Mickey (2006). Cherished grandfather of Shauna, Andrew, (Sarah), and Sara.
Treasured great-grandfather of Spencer. Dear brother of Howard, Kelvin (Carol), and Terry (Jim), and predeceased by siblings Fred, John, June Dunnings, and Brenda. At Nelson's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service held. Cremation has taken place, with a burial of ashes to take place at a later time. Donations in memory of Nelson made to the Alzheimers Society of Canada, or the charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.
