MARCH 26, 1934 – MAY 3, 2021
Passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 87.
She is reunited with her beloved husband of 62 wonderful years, Robert “Bob” Gingrich. Doreen is also predeceased by her brothers William and Jack Logue.
Loving mother of David Gingrich (Barbara) of White Rock, B.C., Doug Gingrich (Claire) of Kitchener, Ont., and Bruce Gingrich (Patricia) of White Rock, B.C. Dearly loved grandmother of Bradley, Michael, Mark, Jessica, Lindsay, Jake, Katie and great- grandmother of Logan and Kaiden.
Doreen retired in 1994 after a 30-year career as a School Secretary with the Waterloo County School Board. Doreen loved the game of curling and was a past member of the Galt Curling Club and the Senior Ladies International Curling Club.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and celebrations of Doreen’s life will wait until it is safe to gather. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home 5(19-653-3251).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
