The Cambridge RedHawks will lean on four returning players as their leaders for the 2024-25 season.
Defenceman Owen Yagar will serve as the team's captain, with defenceman Andrew Grant and forwards Jack Martin and Cameron Fries being named assistants, the team announced on Tuesday.
Yagar was among the RedHawks best players during the 2023-24 campaign when he scored 12 goals and added 30 assists for 42 points in 48 games split between the regular season and playoffs.
Also having played in 48 games, Grant totalled nine points to go along with 60 penalty minutes.
Martin played in 46 games, producing 18 goals and 19 assists, while Fries tallied 11 goals and seven assists in 44 games.
Cambridge opens the new season on Sept. 13 against the St. Catharines Falcons at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre.
On Sept. 14, they begin the home portion of their schedule at Galt Arena Gardens versus the Pelham Panthers.
