The Cambridge Highlanders should be well prepared for the pressures the second round of the junior B lacrosse playoffs will bring.
In round one, they went the distance in their best-of-five series versus the Six Nations Rebels, ultimately clinching it on Sunday night in thrilling fashion.
Trailing 5-4 after the first period and 8-6 after two, the Highlanders outscored the Rebels 4-1 in the third to secure a 10-9 win and the series.
Now, they'll face the Elora Mohawks in round two.
The series is also a best-of-five with Game 1 scheduled for Friday night at the Elora Community Centre at 8 p.m.
Game 2 goes Sunday night at Galt Arena Gardens at 6 p.m. before returning to Elora for Game 3 on Wednesday.
If necessary, Game 4 shifts back to Cambridge on Friday with Game 5 in Elora on July 14.
