The Cambridge Highlanders 2024 season ended on Wednesday night.

The Cambridge Highlanders season has come to an end.

With a 9-5 loss to the Elora Mohawks on Wednesday night, they were swept 3-0 in their best-of-five second round series.

It was also the Mohawks who ended the Highlanders season a year ago, sweeping them in the first round of the 2023 playoffs.

Cambridge finished the regular season with a 14-6 record, good for a second place finish in the Mid West Division and a significant improvement from their 9-11 record last season.

From May 26 to June 9, they reeled of eight straight wins.

Offensively, Drake Neal led the way with 20 goals and 40 assists for 60 points in 16 games.

Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Highlanders won their first round series against the Six Nations Rebels 3-2.

The team now turns their attention to their third season in the city in 2025.
