Fibreworks 20th Anniversary Collection Show

Cambridge Public Library Preston - 435 King St. E, all day

In honour of the 20th anniversary, a collection of past Fibreworks will be on display. Runs until Dec. 1.

Stock-in-Transit

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, all day

An exhibition by José Luis Torres that inspires people to think about the critiques of consumerism. Runs until Jan. 17.

Next in Fibre: 20th Anniversary of Fibreworks

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, all day

A new art installation with fibre as its inspiration is ready to view. Runs from Aug. 24 to Nov. 10.

Art in the Open Tour

Throughout Galt, runs until Oct. 20

Cambridgelicious

Throughout Cambridge, runs until Oct. 27

Thirteen restaurants will have specialty menus to try as part of the annual food tour.

Connections 50+

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Build relationships with other older adults through concerts, crafting and chats.

Freedom Centre's $5 Bag Sale

Generations Cambridge - 1332 Hamilton St., 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Fill a grocery bag with clothing, shoes and accessories for $5.

The Old Whale Moonlight Masquerade

Cambridge Centre for the Arts - 62 Dickson St., 6 p.m.

An all ages event that includes a costume contest, a market, music and repeatable flash tattoos. The market is free from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and tickets for the remainder of the evening are $15 at the door.

Thrills and Chills Author Evening

Cambridge Public Library Hespeler - 5 Tanner St. E, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Author Nick Cutter visits to discuss his horror novel The Queen.

Cambridge Rivulettes Hockey

Galt Arena Gardens - 98 Shade St., 7:30 p.m.

The Rivulettes welcome the Ottawa Sens.

Cambridge Farmers’ Market

A central community food hub, the market features 26 year round vendors and 30 seasonal vendors.

A.C.W. Harvest Bazaar

St. James' Anglican Church - 520 Ellis Road, 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

The annual event features a bake table, preserves table, deli, used books and tea room.

DIY Weaving Workshop

Cambridge Public Library Queen's Square - 1 North Square, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Learn the basics of weaving while making a coaster out of reclaimed fabric.

Fall Family Fiesta
