Volunteers needed for 13th annual Harvest Festival

The Hespeler Village Neighbourhood Association is in need of assistance to put on its annual Harvest Festival.

It's currently seeking volunteers to help run a number of stations at the 13th edition of the event on Sept. 28 in Forbes Park.

Volunteers can work in shifts or the full day.

In addition to volunteers, the association is also looking for vendors to set up and showcase local products and services. All vendors will be allotted a 10 by 10 square foot space.

The free community event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., includes live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, kids crafts and activities, and a pie eating contest.

Scheduled for the fourth Saturday every September, it’s not uncommon for 3,500 to 4,000 people to pass through the park.
