Anyone looking for a romantic dinner experience on Valentine's Day doesn't need to look beyond the city limits, according to a recent study.
OpenTable, an online reservation and review service, has named two Cambridge restaurants in their list of Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in Canada for 2024.
The Cambridge Mill on Water Street and the Blackshop Restaurant and Lounge on Hespeler Road both made their way into the ranking.
The organization analyzed over 1.1 million diner reviews and metrics to determine which restaurants were deserving of the honour.
The Cambridge Mill has nearly 5,000 reviews through OpenTable.
"Everything was wonderful: friendly staff, great food, and an amazing view while dining," read one review on its website.
Blackshop Restaurant and Lounge has over 1,900 reviews.
"Awesome in every way. Server was the best we have ever had. Very professional. Very enjoyable dinner," one happy customer said.
