Cambridge residents are well on their way to reaching the $20,000 goal set by organizers of this year's Terry Fox Run.
The city's version of the annual run to raise money for cancer research is set to start in Riverside Park on the morning of Sept. 17.
Registration for the event opened today and more than $1,400 had been pledged by early afternoon.
The five kilometre route is accessible by cyclists and wheelchairs.
Participants are invited to enter as a team or individual and can do so by visiting the Cambridge Terry Fox Run website.
More details will be made available closer to the date.
