Region to see visits from Steven Del Duca, Jagmeet Singh

The Liberal leader will make afternoon stops in Kitchener and Cambridge, while the federal NDP leader will show support for local candidates in Kitchener

It's the final stretch of the provincial election campaign and Waterloo Region will see visits from Steven Del Duca and Jagmeet Singh.

The Liberal Leader will spend time in Kitchener and Cambridge on Monday.

Del Duca will promote the party's "buck-a-ride" transit fare plan in Kitchener on the corner Victoria and King streets at 12:50 p.m.

A new regional transit hub is slated for construction there.

Then at 2 p.m., Del Duca goes to Tony's Family Diner on Franklin Boulevard in Cambridge to speak on cutting HST for prepared foods.

Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will visit Kitchener Monday afternoon, in a show of support for local NDP candidates.

Singh will stop by Victoria Park at 2:15 p.m.

NDP candidates Catherine Fife, Laura Mae Lindo, Karen Meissner, Joanne Weston and Marjorie Knight will join him.

Ontario voters head to the polls on Thursday.
