Canadian author and historian Paul Langan will hold a launch party for his 2025 Railway Stations of Cambridge Past and Present Calendar on Sunday.
- When: Sunday, December 1, 2024.
- Where: Sparrow Brewery and Roasting, 54 Guelph Avenue, Cambridge, ON.
- Time: Noon to 1 p.m.
- Cost: Free to attend, Calendar is $20.00 cash.
Paul has printed 75 copies of the calendar. The first 35 copies sold will also receive a free reprint of the 1905 Galt, Present and Hespeler Railway Schedule. Additionally, people will have a chance to win one of three Railway Stations of Cambridge Coffee mugs.
The calendar will feature photos of the present and former railway stations of Galt, Preston, Hespeler, Blair and Glen Christie from the:
- Great Western Railway
- Grand Trunk Railway
- Grand River Railway
- Canadian National Railway
- Canadian Pacific Railway
Paul Langan states, “I felt the timing was right to update and release the calendar. This year marks 25 years since I did the first Railway Stations of Cambridge calendar. Sparrow Brewery and Roasting is a fun venue to do the launch. I am looking forward to meeting all the rail fans of Cambridge and area.”
