Popping up in Hespeler Village this Friday, the Fashion History Museum opened its new summer vintage shop.
Open only weekends from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Encore Vintage on Queen Street is home to some truly vintage finds, with pieces dating back over 100 years.
The store is run by Carolyn Dempsey who showcased their Victorian era white gown on opening day for customers.
"It's in great condition. Everything in here is."
Everything in the store is for sale, including the unique lounge chair near the front window that dates back to the same era as the Titanic.
All proceeds from the pop up shop go back to the Fashion History Museum.
“We have some pieces here from the late 1800s," said Rachel Behling, programming and outreach coordinator for the museum.
“There are a few 90s pieces here but for the most part were 60s and 70s right now.”
They have clothes for men and women, each piece a unique find. Behling mentioned they plan to bring children's clothes in the future.
The new location had a busy opening day, full of vintage enthusiasts.
The clothes can jog back memories as people search through the vintage finds, said Behling.
Encore Vintage in Cambridge is only open until September.
