Paranormal circus coming to Cambridge Centre Mall

'Not necessarily for the whole family': Cirque Italia returns, but this time with a spooky twist

Cambridge is getting another visit from Cirque Italia as their Paranormal Cirque is coming to town.

Starting on Aug. 29 to Sept. 8, the cirque will be setting up at the Cambridge Centre Mall to showcase its spooky and adult-themed show.

The show is described as a rated-R performance full of darring stunts, blood, guts and gore.

Ringmaster and host of the show Alex Acero told CambridgeToday that this paranormal circus is unlike anything anyone has ever seen.

"We have a really special show that I think everyone will love. Unlike the other event, this one is not necessarily for the whole family," he said.

Acero and his team have been selling out shows all over North America making six stops in Canada with Cambridge ending the trip.

The circus notes that anyone under 13-years of age will not be admitted to the show and any persons aged 13-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Performers will be suspended by hooks in their skin, devilish burlesque shows will take over the main stage and actors will be scaring attendees as they walk the grounds of the circus.

"You will fall into a parallel world and end up surrounded by monstrous creatures with hidden talents that will amaze you with the circus arts. This show is NOT for the faint of heart," said the circus in a press release.
