The City of Cambridge is preparing to recognize Hanakkuh.
A Menorah has been set up at city hall in the lead up to the holiday.
The multi-branched candelabra, used in the religious rituals of Judaism, is lit over eight days to celebrate the Jewish holiday. It's meant to symbolize light, peace and faith.
Hanakkuh begins on the evening of Dec. 25 and ends Jan. 2.
