Another road is being closed in Cambridge next week for repairs.
The City of Cambridge announced in a social media post that Concession St. between Water and Ainslie Street South will be closed on July 31 for the majority of the day.
City crews will be replacing a broken water service valve and the road will reopen later that day once the work has been completed.
The city has provided a detour map for drivers to follow. Heavy traffic delays are expected while work is being completed.
This is the third road being fully closed or partially closed with the intersection at Fountain Street and Maple Grove Road in Cambridge being fully closed starting at 1:30 a.m. on July 27 until 10:00 p.m. on July 28. After this phase is complete the road will return to single lane traffic going in each direction.
Hespeler Road will also see two of its three southbound lanes closed on July 29 to repair a watermain.
The intersection at Fountain St & Maple Grove Rd in Cambridge will be fully closed starting at 1:30 am on July 27 until 10:00 pm on July 28. After this phase is complete the road will return to single lane traffic going in each direction:
