Police are searching for three suspects after a jewelry store in the Cambridge Centre Mall was robbed Monday evening.

At 8:15 p.m. police responded to reports of a robbery that targeted the Charmed Diamond Centre in the mall. About eight WRPS cruisers and forensic vans were still on site around 9:30 p.m.

Police say three unknown masked males entered the business armed with hammers, smashed the display cases and stole merchandise.

Amber Troupe, manager of the East Side Mario's, said customers saw multiple masked individuals run out of the exit.

"They said they were wearing ski masks holding hammers," said Troupe. "I didn't hear anything, but a few of my workers and customers did."

Troupe said the store they hit is near entrance 3 of the mall.

The three suspects were described as brown males, with thin builds, and believed to be late teens or early 20s. The suspects were carrying duffle bags at the time of the incident.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The suspects are believed to have fled the parking lot area in an awaiting getaway car.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Robbery Team.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777, extension 8255.
