'Holiday tree' ready for Winterfest at City Hall

The city has raised its holiday tree in Civic Square this week and will decorate it in time for Winterfest activities, which begin Nov. 25. Jim and Susan Armstrong donated this year's tree.

The city has raised its holiday tree in Civic Square this week and will decorate it in time for Winterfest activities, which begin Nov. 25.

 Jim and Susan Armstrong donated this year's tree, a 30-foot-tall blue spruce.

The city says it has been displaying donated trees in Civic Square for more than fifteen years.
