Motorists will need to avoid the intersection at Fountain Street and Maple Grove Road this weekend.
The intersection is closed as the Fountain Street improvement project continues.
The closure will begin at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday and reopen at 10 p.m. on Sunday.
For westbound traffic, a detour will be available via Boxwood Drive to Cherry Blossom Road. Eastbound traffic can take Cherry Blossom Road to Boxwood Drive.
Sidewalks will remain accessible but residents should obey construction signs.
All businesses along the route are remaining open and efforts are being made to keep driveways clear between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., although construction may temporarily interfere with access to entrances.
Once the current phase of the project is complete, the road is going to be open to single lane traffic in each direction.
