FLAMBOROUGH – A man has died, and Highway 6 south is closed after a crash just south of Puslinch.

Provincial police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the two-vehicle crash happened at around 8:20 a.m. Wednesday on the highway, between the 11th and 12th Concession in the Freelton area.

"A northbound passenger vehicle, for some reason, moved into the southbound lanes, striking a delivery truck head-on, that was traveling in the right lane," Schmidt said in a video posted to Twitter.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The delivery truck driver is still at the scene after sustaining minor injuries.

Schmidt is asking for any witnesses to the crash to come forward and call Burlington OPP.

The highway is expected to be closed for several hours, but detours are in place.
