It has been a long summer without any filming in Cambridge, but productions are back in town with the Family Channel show Ruby and the Well.
Crews were set up along Blenhiem Road in west Galt to film an episode for the fourth season of the popular show.
Police are intermittently stopping traffic around 16 Blenheim Rd. to allow for scenes to be shot at the heritage home.
The show follows the main character Ruby O'Rielly, played by Zoe Wiesenthal, as she inherits a magical well that grants the wishes of the local townspeople.
According to IMDB, when Ruby's father inherits an overgrown orchard, she discovers a magic well. She's been designated its new "keeper," and now it's up to her and her friends Mina and Sam to turn unfulfilled wishes into reality.
The show has filmed in Hamilton, Dufferin County and now Cambridge.
Ruby and the Well can be watched on the Family Channel with new episodes airing on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and the season three finale premiering on Oct. 24.
Production will only be in Cambridge for one day of shooting.
