The CKPC Holiday Train is destined for 10 Malcolm Street on Nov. 24.

The CPKC Holiday Train is making its way back to Cambridge next month.

On Nov. 24, the train will stop at the Galt CP train station located at 10 Malcolm Street to entertain the community with musical performances and kick off the holiday season.

American Authors and KT Tunstall will be performing on board between 4:15 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

CP sends two of their trains around Canada and the United States each year to perform nearly 168 live shows in communities while raising money and food donations for the holidays.

This year marks 26 years since the initiative began and over that time it's raised more than $24.5 million and 5.3 million pounds of food.

"The 2024 CPKC Holiday Train will tour Canada and the U.S. Nov. 21 through Dec. 20, raising money, food and awareness to support food banks across our network," the CPKC website reads.

"Professional musicians play free concerts from the brightly decorated train's stage. CPKC donates to the local food bank at each stop and encourages all attendees to make a monetary or heart-healthy food donation."
