As we return to standard time

If you need to catch up on some sleep, you will want to do so in the coming days.

Ontario and most other areas of the country return to standard time Sunday, November 6.

Clocks will go back one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, meaning more light in the morning. But it also means it will start to get dark around 5 p.m.

Fire departments also encourage residents to check and make sure their smoke/CO detectors are in proper working order.

We return to Daylight Saving Time on March 12, 2023, meaning clocks are turned forward one hour.
