In honour of the Galt Arena Gardens’ 100th anniversary, the City of Cambridge is pleased to launch the Memories of Galt Arena Gardens public engagement campaign. The Engage Cambridge web page offers the community the space to connect through shared memories and love for this historic building.
Galt Arena Gardens – believed to be the oldest continually operating arena – celebrated 100 years on January 20, 2022, and has been at the heart of the Cambridge community for the past century.
Residents are invited to visit the Memories of Galt Arena Gardens page throughout this centennial year to share memories, stories, and photos, or simply appreciate the virtual stroll down memory lane through posts shared by others.
