The Cambridge Shelter Corporation is once again turning to the community in hopes of securing needed items for its residents.
Staff are looking to obtain disinfecting wipes, toilet paper, 24-inch box fans and oscillating tower fans.
The shelter regularly turns to the community for donations of essential supplies like warm clothing, furniture and household items. The non-profit offers 64 emergency shelter beds for men and women experiencing homelessness and 20 bachelor apartments to provide supported second-stage housing.
Along with donations, the shelter is continuously in search of volunteers to help with its services.
Each year, over 200 volunteers put in 500 hours per month by performing a number of tasks, including serving meals, selling raffle tickets for fundraisers and helping in the Voluntary Trust program.
