The Cambridge Shelter Corp is turning to the community in hopes of receiving a helping hand.
Volunteer opportunities are available at the shelter to assist in a variety of roles.
Help is currently needed with meal preparation and fundraising events. Volunteering as a group is an option, whether it be faith-based, a business, students or families.
Anyone who has a special skill in art, music, crafts and entertainment is also encouraged to volunteer to help in socialization through programs and discussions.
In addition, donations are welcome in the form of individual gifts, third-party fundraisers and gift in kind.
The organization's mission is to provide safe shelter and offer programs and services in support of the hopes and needs of people dealing with life issues.
