Christ the King Catholic Elementary School, on Acorn Way, is closed following a power outage that began earlier this morning.
The school board says the closure is precautionary and there are no safety concerns at this time.
Staff at the school are prepared to supervise students until their parents/guardians are able to pick them up. All parents/guardians have been directly notified of the situation.
The WCDSB says it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates directly to the school community as they become available.
