Staff at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital are ready to celebrate the grand opening of several new and renovated spaces.
On Saturday, residents are invited to take a self-guided tour of the facility between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Those in attendance can view the state-of-the-art facilities, latest technology and modern equipment.
"This will provide those who are interested a glimpse into the extensive work and investments that were made to modernize our hospital," Stephan Beckhoff, manager of public affairs and communications, told CambridgeToday earlier in November.
The revamped wing-B is set to house mostly in-patient units, including inpatient surgery and medicine.
A new laboratory that opened earlier this year and a section of surgical day care that opened in 2024 are also part of the new space.
No registration is required and parking will be free in lots two, four and five.
