James, a 54-year-old handyman and superintendent, said he was having a coffee when he scanned his ticket using the OLG App. “At first I didn’t realize what I saw, then I turned to the guy sitting next to me and said, ‘I think I just won the lottery.’ He got more excited than me,” he laughed.
James said he sent a screenshot of his win to his brother and sister to share his big news. “They were so happy for me.”
He plans to pay some bills and purchase a truck. “It’s exciting – you can’t see from my mask, but I have a big smile on my face!”
