A 58-year-old from Cambridge was pulled from the Grand River just outside of the city after reports of a drowning.
Brant County OPP responded to a report of a possible drowning in the Grand River near Glen Morris where the Cambridge male was found unresponsive and later pronounced deceased.
Police add that the incident is currently under investigation and there is no concern for public safety at this time, but there may be an increased police presence in the area.

"Our thoughts are with the family and friends during this difficult time," wrote OPP in a social media post.
