The food bank is once again selling mini trees to raise money for its programs and services.

A popular Cambridge Food Bank fundraiser is returning in time for the holidays.

Residents can purchase mini lavender and rosemary Christmas trees for $25 to help fight food insecurity.

Proceeds from the trees will provide a family in need with a Christmas meal.

The plants are six inches in height and give the appearance of a miniature silver Christmas tree. They can be used as centrepieces, decor or as a hostess gift.

The sale of trees begins today and runs until Nov. 30.

Pickup is scheduled on Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to  6:30 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 pm at 54 Ainslie Street S.

Orders can be placed by clicking here or by visiting the food bank. Bulk orders of over 20 can be done by completing the form found here.
