The Bridges Shelter is looking for new volunteers to help the organization raise money and enhance the impact the charity makes on individuals experiencing homelessness.
The Bridges is looking for members of the community to donate a few hours of their time to help with running its bingo program.
"Only two hours of your volunteer time will raise $1,120 for Cambridge Shelter Corporation (CSC)," said the charity in a social media post. "Join a growing number of adult volunteers who give two hours once a month to raise funds for The Bridges."
Beyond the immediate need for volunteers to help with games, the CSO is always looking for help around the shelter with preparing meals, fundraising events and sharing skills such as: music, art, crafts or entertainment.
The shelter service is also looking for a new board member to help guide their decisions going into the future.
"Serving on our board offers opportunities to connect with community leaders while sharing your own area of expertise in a meaningful way," said CSC.
The shelter service noted that board members provide critical support to strengthen the organization and provide opportunities to connect with community leaders while sharing their areas of expertise in a meaningful way.
