A new boutique style hotel that is changing the way people spend the night is coming to Cambridge.
The Laundry Room is a short-term stay concept for corporate guests and travellers. The company’s approach is to create accommodations with services and amenities similar to a luxury hotel.
The Cambridge location will be at 15 Glebe Street in Galt, adjacent to the Tapestry Hall in the Gaslight District.
The space will feature 37 rooms over three floors with 11,000 square feet of outdoor common space with a terrace, hammocks and fire pits. Each room is equipped with a patio and some have expanded terraces.
Meant as a home-away-from home, guests will have access to wifi, a full kitchen, including dishes and a dishwasher, wireless speakers and an in-suite washer and dryer. The rooms are also pet-friendly.
With 85 per cent of guests being business travellers on extended stays, each location is designed to create a sense of belonging, says a press release
