Snow and blowing snow through this morning.
Hazards: Reduced visibility in blowing snow due to westerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h.
Timing: This morning.
Discussion: Snow in combination with westerly winds gusting up to 70 km/h this morning will create areas of blowing snow and poor visibility. The worst conditions are expected to the northwest of Kitchener over exposed areas.
Winds will diminish somewhat this afternoon. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
