Environment Canada is warning about rainfall amounts up to 100 mm this morning as thunderstorms roll through the region.
Heavy rain is expected with rates of up to 40 mm an hour and total amounts of 50 to 80 mm possible over the next hour.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low lying areas is possible.
Watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
