Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing, repairing, and servicing small gasoline and diesel-powered engines and related equipment, such as garden tractors, lawnmowers, compact excavators, skid steers, telehandlers, boom lifts, and more. You will play a key role in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Job Duties:
• Review work orders and communicate with supervisors to understand the work to be performed.
• Inspect and test engines and other mechanical components using diagnostic devices to identify and isolate faults.
• Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and functionality.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services on a wide range of small equipment.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in small engines and heavy equipment repair.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with a wide range of equipment
• Experience with both gasoline and diesel-powered engines.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic devices for repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with garden tractors, lawn mowers, and similar equipment.
• Experience with heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical systems in small engines.
