This year, all eyes will be on Ceylin Alvarado and Eli Iserbyt as they aim to defend their titles. A revamped calendar will see cyclo-cross stars visiting Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, as well as a new venue: Cabras in Sardinia (Italy), near the city of Oristano.
Rounds will be held every week, except for the National Championships weekend on 11-12 January. The end of the year will be intense, with four rounds in the last ten days of 2024. In January, the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup will conclude with the much-anticipated double-header in Maasmechelen and Hoogerheide.
The season culminates with the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships 2025 in Liévin, France (31 January - 2 February). The Dublin, Cabras, Hulst and Besançon rounds have been granted "protected event" status as part of a series of new measures to promote balanced participation in events on the UCI's international cyclo-cross calendar. The Dublin, Hulst, Zonhoven, Besançon, Benidorm and Hoogerheide rounds will feature races in the youth categories - Men Under 23, Women Junior and Men Junior.
