GUELPH – A tractor trailer fire has snarled traffic on a portion of Highway 401 near Guelph.
Details are limited, but firefighters can be seen on video putting out the fire on the eastbound side of Highway 401, between Highway 6 north and Highway 6 south.
Provincial police say two eastbound lanes have been blocked, and it's causing heavy delays.
As of 4:40 p.m. Thursday, traffic on the eastbound side of the highway was backed up to the Highway 8 ramp in Kitchener, and those heading south on Highway 6 north are also having trouble merging onto the busy highway.
